Hi Brookchook, I have a lot of fowlers but only waterbath with those , I have a 23 litre Presto canner and use recycled jars I use the passata sauce bottles for my tomato sauce ,I use glass softdrink bottles for my sauce and cordials and I have a few dozen of the fowlers drink 1 pint bottles as well...

I am looking for a recipe for this jam there are lots of berries on my shrubs and would like to give this a try ,I have asked another group no answer .
Never had berries before this year .

I was given a jam melon and looked up some recipes to use Made melon, lime and ginger and also melon ,pineapple and orange wonderful colors and I kept a few seeds as I loved the taste of these two .

yes I too am planning a lot of preserving this winter ,summer is so busy for us with the wheat harvest then the grape harvest so most fruits go into the freezer for jams and sauces but I do preserve the peach pear and apricots slices in jars for sweets and from now I will need to do the following Qu...

I went to a local market today and a man had a ute tray and the back of his 4wd full of fowlers jars lids clips and 2 cookers I s/s the other cream plastic not many sold anyone in sunraysia area I have his ph number if interested he had 3,10 ,14,19,20,27,28, 31,36,42,

I also have fowlers 19 --1/2 pint and the juice bottle-- 1 pint
and the 200mil masterfood jars ---53mm lids
kraft cheesey mite 58mm as is the older kraft cheese spread the tall one

I have just done twelve bottles of sliced apples not pie ones just lovely slices of apples
I never thought of doing these until I saw them in the supermarket at $4+ a jar and a neighbour had too many apples on her tree

Easiest way is if you see the trailer in your right mirror turn your wheel to the right and if in the left turn your wheel left It works for me and I drive B doubles and road trains and yes I am female
